Chalciporus piperatus Peppery Bolete

Growing with Amanita muscaria under Abies. Somewhat unusual as there were several 5+ fully developed but all were about 2cm not larger whereas previously all specimens of this species i've seen have been at least twice this size and often bigger than that.


Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
