Description:

This shrub was spotted in a mixed hedgerow - it seems to be in the process of changing colour to a deep purple, the remaining berries are black and beginning to wither. The stems are quite woody, which makes me doubt my identification - also its habit appeared to be more 'shrub-like' than climber although this may be easier to see when in flower. The leaves are about 5 cm and quite rounded and smooth.
