Linnet

I would think that linnet is most likely from beak and plumage, but couldn't be sure.

Linnet

I think it is an adult female, based on the paleness of the breast feathers and the streaking on the breast. The bill of a juvenile is usually paler with yellow but this darkens as the bird ages.

Linet

Definitely a Linnet, as location is wrong for Twite, which does not have such a grey head.

Most probably an adult female as young birds of any species tend to look smarter at this time of year than the adults - just because their feathers are newer!
