Correct ID

I agree that it's a western leopard toad. The scientific name is Amietophrynus pantherinus. You can add this to your identification.

Southern African Website: The Top recorded species!

Please note that there is a Southern African iSpot (as mentioned by Jonathan) at http://za.ispot.org.uk where you are likely to get faster and more accurate identification of local species.

Currently the WLT is the most recorded species in southern Africa on iSpot.za BUT it is not known from Table View which is well out of range! Please transfer this record to the southern African site where it can be acted upon and investigated further!
