Description:

About 5 inches in diameter. White, coral like growth nestled in a hole in the base of a tree.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

According to Phillips it is on the Red Data List. Does this mean your find should be recorded? Perhaps Alan knows?
