Description:

There seem to be lots of similar plants, but I think it might be this particular one. It could be some kind of Hieracium otherwise.

Crepis mollis

Hi
Thanks for this. I need to be more observant when taking photos as I hadn't realised there were so many possibilities for Hieracium!
Where would I be likely to find Crepis mollis - and why not Cheshire? It has to grow somewhere!!

Rare

I was being derogatory as Cheshire has a relatively poor flora and not many national rarities. Yorkshire seems to be best for Crepis mollis.

Thanks for this insight.

Thanks for this insight. Well, I suppose Cheshire has the footballers (not sure about national rarities!)
