I didn't want to uproot them. There was only this little group of them less than 2cm high. They were paler than any C.cibarius I have seen and I wondered if they might be C.ferruginascens which is on the Red Data List according to Phillips. I don't suppose it's very likely in view of the rarity of the latter. Also, since I don't have a microscope, or the necessary expertise, I didn't feel justified in taking a sample.
