One of those awkward brown birch boletes. This one in pine plantation with one young birch. No colour change in damaged parts of cap or stem even after several hours.

The first photo does seem to show some pinking of the flesh where it has been eaten.
I see what you mean, I had not noticed that in the field or on the photo, both pictures are of the same individual (now eaten unfortunately so not possible to do more ID).
