A fairly obvious question, was it growing on a conifer stump or broadleaved stump, leaves around look broadleaved which might suggest a different Hypholoma species.
It was growing in a broadleaf area, so probably on a broadleaved stump as no conifers were visible nearby. I originally thought this was Brick Tuft, but it was suggested this was actually Conifer Tuft even though I mentioned the nearby vegetation on the Wild About Britain website.
