This fungus was 8 centimetres across and 9 centimetres tall, growing on the top of sloping land (at 34 metres ASL), under a tall conifer and a birch. It was raining and so the top lookks more shiny than it is. Sorry about the poor photograph of the underside, getting old and need to get a new macro lens with vibration control.
