Description:

A Sarcophaga fly came to an untimely end on the window sill in my conservatory. It is now also surrounded by tiny larvae about 2mm long - also dead. I understand that Sarcophaga lay larvae rather than eggs. Are these larvae that have deserted the fly when she died?
