Not a Spider, Eh...

That's really interesting, thanks for that. There's so much to learn, and I'm interested in everything! I'll never get it all... But I'll remember this one, for sure.

You can tell harvestmen from

You can tell harvestmen from spiders very easily. Harvestmen have a one-part body with two eyes in a turret on top of the head. Spiders have a two-part body (head+thorax, and abdomen) with >>2 eyes on the front of the head. Both have 8 legs, but the legs are very different in structure - those of harvestmen are thread-like and prehensile towards the ends. In other aspects of their biology they are also very different.
