Family Labiatae. Aromatic flowers, leaves, and stems. Toothed, hairy leaves, ovate, varying from light green to grey-green with reddish veining; pinkish-mauve flowers consisting of 4 joined petals with darker mauve centres, in dome-shaped clusters at ends of stems and branches. Stems round, hairy, reddish-brown.
