Description:

I get a number of different looking caddis flies in the moth light trap, would be interested in identifying them if possible. Are there any good ID books or internet sites that could be recommended?
If it can be done visually, even with a magnifying glass, I would be interested, if it requires dissection I will leave it.

Some can be identified from

Some can be identified from wing pattern and venation but in most cases you need to check the male genitalia (which are external so no dissection needed). The FBA key by Macan is the best I know of for the UK fauna, though it is rather out of date now, 1977 I think. There have been several additional species found.
