Constantly amazes me how small these are...yet they migrate across the North Sea in their thousands in late autumn...astonishing!

Never seen them queueing up to get on at the terminals...hope they pay their way! ;)

There was a feature on it on Springwatch last year where lots of small birds used a ferry. Unfortunately so did some Sparrowhawks and Kestrels!
