Description:

Small snails (abuot 1cm) with tight whorls,dark and cream brown colour. Found in leaf litter in garden.Any ideas?

Snails by Graeme

It's a guess but they may be juveniles of Cepaea species. The lips are not formed so can't be sure. They look like yellow and brown morphs with no banding. Is there an umbilicus on the underside?
