It's a bit far gone.

I'm afraid it has gone over too much for me to hazard much of a guess. The cap is fully expanded and is probably sporing away. Did you notice any spore colour? What was it growing near or under? Trees? Open grassland?

The fungi was growing on a

The fungi was growing on a grassy woodland ride in the middle of a 50 year old conifer plantation. The nearest tree was only about 6 foot away. The site had plenty of moisture and usually well shaded. Sorry I have no idea of the spore colour.
