Description:

Young fox. Spent a long time gnawing at the grass under the bird feeder. What was it after? Sunflower seeds?

It is a lovely photo. I found that there were more worms under my bird feeder because of the fallen food. Could it be possibly eating the worms?

I suspect that the worms - and other invertebrates - theory is correct- but there may be the smells of mice or rats (also after the spilt seeds). They are insatiably curious at that age.
