This is an interesting record as the NBN Data doesnt map this species as a Northerly one

Thanks for ID'ing.
I can see on the NBN map that it isn't distributed in my area but is this reliable data?
Does anyone know if this is genuinely a rare insect in Yorkshire?
It is not necessarily Rare (Locally Common in the right habitat and latitude) , possibly under recorded and possibly expanding its range due to a number of factors - No one really knows if so and or why !! Until detailed recordings and studies are made and analysed
Its predominance on the coast reflects its sandy habitats around the British Coastline and obviously the Humber is a nice route inland and a nice record on the Northern Margins
