Eupelix cuspidata, just about to upload an image of this species.
An iSpot Project- HELP WITH IDS - UK & Ireland Community - PLANTS
This really doesn't look like Eupelix to me, the shape is too rounded isn't it? My vote is still for Aphrodes!
Entomologist and biological recorder
most definitely. I was implying that I was about to, and have now uploaded my observations of Eupelix cuspidata.
Where did A. duffieldi come from, known only from Dungeness, seems to popping up everywhere on iSpot.
Unfortunately if you type in "Leafhopper" and use "Get recommended" iSpot automatically decides that you mean Anoscopus duffieldi, and even if you don't use "Get recommended" the links to NBN etc. are set to duffieldi. I suspect everything currently labelled as Anoscopus duffieldi is actually an unidentified leafhopper.
Thanks for the heads up Martin, mind you its not something I would do :;-)
