Blackbird gang

I don't know if this is unusual behaviour but I seem to have attracted a gang of blackbirds to my garden. From what I have, (very briefly) investigated in my bird book and a couple of websites, blackbirds are territorial so I'm wondering why they seem to be moving in a gang. There are about 4 males and 1 female. The female also seems to be chasing the male, which again I don't think is the norm. Does any more knowledgable person know if this is normal behavour? Maybe part of their mating ritual?

Thanks
Jo

Blackbird Gang

We have the same in our garden, also seen the same at work where I have also seen 5 robins together this winter. I believe we have European migrants of both in Britain during the winter months, perhaps they are visitors?
