Thank you allrounder. I may have photographed the wrong plant, unless this also has hollow stems.
I based my id mostly on the leaf shape. Also, Greater Birdsfoot trefoil has 9-12 flowers in the head and has a 'tighter' look to it. Meadow Vetchling has a 'looser' look. Also, habitat can plays a role, MV is mostly found in dry grassy habitats whereas GBFT is most often found in damp grassy places such as marshes and fens. Hope this helps. Gary
