Purple Emperors at Fermyn Woods

Fermyn woods Country Park managed by Northamptonshire County Council is excellent for butterflies, including the rarer ones such as black hairstreak, purple emperor, white admiral and white letter hairstreak

Sunday 16th May 10:30am to 3:30pm Butterfly Day Join some of our local experts from Northamptonshire Butterfly Conservation Group on a guided tour of Fermyn Woods to learn about butterflies such as the Grizzled Skipper and Dingy Skipper. Guided walks commence at 10:30am to 2:00pm
