Southern Field cricket

We have these large black crickets in our garden and I believe in lots of the gardens around here / they are extremely noisy and have been positively identified as Gryllis bimaculatis / could any tell me if this is very unusual as i believe they are not native / how many times have they been found in the UK before

Southern Field Cricket

This species is commonly sold as live food for reptiles and tarantulas etc by petshops. Escapes or surplus releases are the likely source. The cold autumn weather will almost certainly kill them off.
