Description:

One of thousands which invaded the local lagoon waters all flowing out with the outgoing tidal currents. There were specimens which went from minute thumbnail size, to others like this one, about 25cms in diameter. In the second image you can see how close they were to the surface of the water, and in the third, the blue/purple fringe around the umbrella.
