Yes this is a Tachnid Fly Hovers rarely have bristles like that on Abdomen Wings heavier and opaque as opposed to clear with thick edge easiliy confused

Volucella inflata would have an almost complete orange band running across the top of the abdomen, and no bristles like this.

This is coming up in the Ispot search as Volucella inflata. If you change the title to Tachina fera, it will, I think, clear this anomaly.
