Found under a corrugated iron sheet placed to attract especially adders. Can you tell the species from the skin - probably grass snake or adder.

I'd say grass snake. Adders bask in sunlight, grass snakes prefer to bask under warm surfaces like tin sheets. The underside scales look to be keeled, which also suggests this species.
I have a great specimen of this snakes shed skin, from a female found from underneath a corrugated tin sheet.
