This is no longer considered a reliable feature for distinguishing these two species; partly the reason for my lack of a certain ID.

Thanks Ophrys, I had not heard that. So they all need to be recorded as an agg. unless they've been dissected?

Not necessarily. I think most of what is in Waring and Townsend still stands...but the notch is not reliable. I don't see spadicearia, that's why I left it as either. I'm sure someone familiar with them both would give a more definitive answer.
