Foliose lichens

Great picture of foliose lichen. This looks very similar to the lichen that I've noticed on an Elder tree and a Willow tree in my garden in Northamptonshire. From what I've seen so far of lichen, it seems to be one of the more common/widespread types of lichen that grows on trees.
