Description:

I was really surprised to see this Bogbean near Crockford Stream in the New Forest. My books say this is in flower 5-7, clearly this one can't read!

Late...

My book says April to June...still late...
The leaves were once used, after drying, as a tea to cure scurvy and also as a substitute for hops in beer making.

My old Collins says Apr-June and my new Rose/Reilly says 5-7.
