A reasonably cooperative pair of Small Red Damselflies caught in flagrante delicto.
No interactions present.
I see there are no numbers on the wings. That area has been used for damselfly studies and sometime you end up with nice pictures but suddenly realise that they are not veins on the wings but numbers telling which individual it is!
Interesting stuff, Mike, and thanks for letting me know. I'm sure to return for a future trip so I'll keep my eyes peeled next time.
When I was a child, I was sad enough to collect the registration numbers of aircraft. This opens up a whole new realm of opportunity. :D
