Green larvae 10-15mm long, each one occupying a tube of silk. Found in rotting pine timber.

Hi Matt. This makes sense, as I've just discovered a large (disused) bee nest behind the same piece of panelling. There are lots of old combs there, and a single dead bumblebee. Thanks for your help. I'm removing old buildings to make a bigger garden with a pond.
