A number of these grew from seeds labelled as a "blue bellflower" collected by a relation living in France. The stems are also circular but red/purple. They grow, after 3 months, to 10-15cms tall/wide. Can't spot anything with both flower AND succulent foliage (leaves are round in section reminiscent of glasswort stems)like them in any flora or garden encyclopaedia.... Growing in old freely draining compost /calcareous soil mix.

    Likely ID
    Portulaca grandiflora cultivar
Confidence: It's likely to be this, but I can't be certain.
