I have been nursing these plants in a wild corner of my garden.
No interactions present.
apparently have little food value for animals, and are are poisonous to humans: but I recall reading that a kind of porridge ("Portland sago") can be made from the root corms.
The seeds had disappeared by the following week but may just have fallen around the parent as I think there was only one plant there is previous years.
