Mallards

The bird on the right is certainly a drake Mallard. The one on the left is also very much Mallard, but it looks like it has some other duck in its ancestry - there seems to be some white feathering below the beak and down the front of the neck and the flank does't look quite right.

There are so many domestic varieties of mallard, the "other duck" in this bird's ancestry is probably mallard as well.
