Description:

Found in the grass of a field on the Crundale Downs. To my eye it most closely matches a White-point in Waring & Townsend but the text indicates that the Clay is similar. Any advice gratefully received.

White-Point

I cant see the line of punctate markings as on 2193 The Clay Mythimna ferrago and the white mark is clearly defined I would tend to go with your original suggestion 2194 White-point Mythimna albipuncta but likely someone will have encountered this species

Best Wishes
