Thanks for the id~ I read (Wikipedia) that this cricket preys on the Horse Chestnut leaf Miner, a specimen of which seems to be here in the same living room as the cricket. Posting to follow: can you help with this id, please?
The full-length wings can be made out when the photo is at full size.
Bush crickets are omnivorous, so may well feed on leaf miners such as Cameraria - but by the look of the trees around me, they aren't eating enough!
