Thank you for the helpful information. I was very excited to see this beautiful beetle - there were perhaps 50- 100 beetles on an area of tansy about 4 metres x 2 metres. Cattle graze on the river bank and some plants had been flattened. I hope that there will be enough plants for this colony to survive.
