Bombus ruderarius

Thanks for the ID - I thought that might be the case but hadn't seen ruderarius for so many years I wanted to confirm back at home!

Great photo of B. ruderarius,

Great photo of B. ruderarius, you can really see the red hairs on the back leg very clearly. Any chance we can have the lapidarius identification removed so it isn't confusing?

Observations

Leaving the initial "Bombus lapidarius" Observation in place is the way I-Spot is designed to work. That way, people can see what choices have been proposed and what is coming out at the "Most Likely" ID. The comments in the Observation should help people understand why I opted to name this one "B.ruderarius" instead of "B.lapidarius".
