These are difficult but I'm going for Syrphus ribesii.

Syrphids

Hi Stuart unfortunately this genus if Syrphids can not be with certainty taken to genus without further examination
Syrphus ribesii is probaly one of the most common Syrphids but there are many others taht look superficially similar
