Saw these shoots last year and did not get back to see them fully grown - any ideas.
They were growing in a small wooded area by the side of a river path.
No interactions present.
Im not sure about the corn salad ID and surely too small for a petasites. I though cudweed but that does not fit either. Stumped.
I was back in Tain today and took a look at the plant again. Last year it was early February so these new photographs show it a month later.
Do these help identification??
