I just snapped this last August and assumed it was a bee but now I've looked more closely and found some hover-fly details, the Drone-fly looks more likely.
No interactions present.
It's certainly an Eristalis species but I'd want to see the face and the front tarsi before giving a more specific identification. The eyes meeting at the top of the head just mean its a male, body colour can be very variable in several species and it is not a good character to base IDs on.
