Rather sad

What a sad picture of such lovely flowers surrounded by rubbish discarded by people who must have no respect for the natural world, makes me very angry.

Unless -

the plant is an alcoholic!
Joking apart, I entirely agree. Litter is not only unsightly, it can be lethal to wildlife. And you are right about the lack of respect for the environment.
I have spent more than a couple of hours removing litter from photos using editing software - you don't always notice it, or have time to remove it before taking the picture.
A word of warning, too - if, like me, you've also spent time picking litter on nature reserves: it can be a risky business where broken glass, needles, or hazardous waste (oil or asbestos, for instance) are involved.
