Small but rugged tree. The branches lean away from each other with a clear vertical division so could be two trees which have grown side by side. Grassy area adjoining Donnington Castle.

I've never..........

I've never seen Salix caprea (sometimes called pussy willow) grow this big. I've only ever seen it growing as a smallish tree, beside streams and rivers.
