I disturbed this beele while walking in a cutover bog today,it was running from clump to clump of moss,about 15-17mm long ,bronze to black in colour.
No interactions present.

Pt. madidus has rounded hind angles, other species have at least a little denticle (Pt. nigrita/rhaeticus). There is another species with rounded angles (Pt. aethiops), but in my experience it is darker and shorter in shape.
