I've had another look at this and I reckon charlieb is right. It might be Mystacides azurea .

I agree it is Mystacides. Unfortunately, of the three British species, two are black so I can't say which this is. They are supposed to be slightly different shades of black so someone more familar with them may be able to give you the species name.
Prompted by John's comment I've had another look at this, and I would agree with Rob's identification as Mystacides azurea, because there appear to be dark and light bands on the tarsi (last section of legs), which matches M. azurea. The alternative species, M. nigra, is not supposed to have these bands on the tarsi.
