Amazing find! Hard to believe that a creature associated with open unspoilt countryside can survive in the heart of London
They were introduced to the WWT centre at Barnes and seem to be doing very well. There are also Grass Snakes and one crossed the path in front of me on the Ist. April this year. Also doing well are the Water Voles.
I always say a silent thank you to Sir Peter Scott for having the idea of a Wetland Centre in London.
