Description:

Habitat was very shortly cropped (rabbits) grass, within a few metres of the upper shore. A cluster of 5 or so fungi.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

Agaricus

If you are trying to distinguish A. bernardii and A. augustus by smell then the former has an unpleasant fishy smell and the latter has a pleasant aniseed smell. The cap looks more like the A. augustus although I can't be sure. Hope this is helpful. Regards
