I think it's probably a Harlequin in 3 stages because I just found the www.harlequin-survey.org and all appear to be same

You have two species here -

You have two species here - the first and third are Harlequins (prepupal larvae and pupae respectively), while the adult in the second picture is a 7-spot (and so should really be a separate observation)

Well spotted Richard, missed that! Could you please have a look at an observation posted by quantock5 on 15th of july titled 'lady bird' and confirm or give me some more info as it is a Ladybird species I am not familiar with.
