Your first Marine post...
Some of these early posts of yours are specially valuable Chris. Will you PLEASE consider some, any, for the tag ProjectM1?
THREE MARINE PROJECTS
Apparently any editing brings your file to the front of the queue, so I changed the group to birds.
wonder if adding to a project would do the same?
I see commenting via group worked & I couldcan navigate to previous & next bird
Yea, I'm online with great difficulty (poor connection) and away from home TRYING to catch up with all the spurious (terrible) Changes!. I see you online too via the new feature. Yes it has always been true about the order of changes reflects the latest addition. It would be the same if I edited Marines Project. But you are still not a contriibuter there - I DON'T thenk simply having a post in the project would give you flags when I edit it though. Worth a try - you can remove ProjectM1 anytime it gives you a headache. Please?
"it has always been true about the order of changes reflects the latest addition". I don't know what it means but it's rubbish as what happened here has never happened before & you've altered files often enough so should know!!!
That "Apparently any editing brings your file to the front of the queue,..." has always been true (the case).
You 'Added: 4th December 2014' a new Group and another Tag. The date of the Post and of the Observation Photo remain unchanged. (relates to your comment, in trial, below) I am not confused, nor is iSpot confusing, (in my opinion of course)
"but it's rubbish ..." is rather unkind because if anyone adds a comment, an agreement or an ID or you do anything to the post, it leaps to the top of YOUR changes (and your Track) and everyone else's (IF they have contributed to the post and have filters ticked), which has always been the case (been true, that is).
What is marginally interestng (for me) is that the Plus sign + (Added: 4th December 2014) should create a drop-down to reveal WHAT you have done because to most people it may not be apparent and, to some (not me), annoying - specially now as you've undone those changes.
For example my beadlet here "added 4thdec14" which is untrue; squirrel's beadlet anemone http://www.ispotnature.org/node/3261 says "added 1aug'09",but only changed group to invertebrates 30oct'14, as comments make clear
Nice view of those acrorhagi Chris. Stingers I am told?
Yes indeed, they use them to battle against rival anemones (Maya Plass)
That's right, thanks for the reminder. I have seen a speeded up film of an anemone scrap.
skip ad and it takes a while to get to the "action"
This I very interesting film.
